My name is Leah Andrews and I am a freelance film editor and cinematographer.
I work as an assistant editor at Byrd Productions alongside head editor, Eric Frith. This is where I am truly discovering the types of films and projects I would like to work on. I have gained valuable experience in editing feature length documentaries, corporate videos, and promotional trailers for films.
Since April of 2014 I have interned and worked for Digital Vendetta, a video production company based in Yakima, WA. With Digital Vendetta I have gained valuable experience filming and editing music events, festivals, and music videos. I have helped to document three Chinook Festivals in Naches, WA and Snoqualmie Summit.
In December of 2014 I established my own video production company, Reel Quick Productions. In addition to the work I do for Byrd Productions and Digital Vendetta, I have helped edit promotional videos for the non-profit organization, Vashon Island Pet Protectors and RISK (Rock Island String Kollective of Vashon Island). I am currently collaborating on a music video with a Seattle area rapper.
In April of 2015 I worked as a production assistant on a music video produced by Soul Pancake in Seattle for the music group Train.
